Statement

I am a concept-driven, collaborative, interdisciplinary artist who uses installation, new media and fibers to create participatory work that merges concepts of ecology with queer theory, or queer ecology. Queer ecology means a few different things simultaneously in my work. In no particular order, one is the ecological systems and relationships between people that make up the intersections of LGBTQAI+ communities and histories, one the notion of queering the natural and making the queer natural, and one is the validity that LGBTQAI+ people who are activists can work for multiple causes at the same time.
